I had some service work done one my 92 Accord the other day and today
when I turned on the radio the word "code" showed in the display. I
searched aound and found the plastic card that came with the car and
found the code numbers. Bud what is the procedure to enter these numbers
    into the radio?

I don't have the procedure for your car but if you have a users manual it is
    in it...

press the preset buttons numbered as per the code. code "12345" is
entered as preset 1, preset 2, etc.

It's in your glove box, or here, in the chapter about the stereo:

Thanks for the reply. I found the plastic card with the code numbers on
it and punched them in , but still the radio doesnt come on. the display
still says "code". Someone suggested I disconnect the battery lead for
about thirty seconds, reconnect then try the inputing the numbers again.
    What do you think?

it should reset itself after a few minutes anyway, but if you want to
disconnect, pull the fuse - the one under the hood.

The same people who built the car wrote the Owner's Manual. All this
    stuff is in the manual.
