Are the modules at the rear of brake lights able to be tested?
I have been constantly having trouble with the brake light faulty
warning lights coming on. Having changed the rear globes to 21/5 watt
types and removing a 21/5 and 32/4 watt globes (which were fitted).
Still no joy. The modules : one has reed switch with diode and the other
just the reed switch. Whats their function ? How can they be tested?
Passenger side has the diode. (Aussie model)
All contacts appear beautifully clean and don't appear to have been in
any sort of bingle in the past...
    No one seems to know...

I asked the same question (I think). If it's the same dashboard light
that I had. the fix could be very easy. Basically it has to do with the
brake fluid reservoir. See the October 21 2005 thread. Also there is a
FAQ on this subject because Honda has a tech service bulletin on this
    issue. I hope this helps.
