Relieving ABS System Pressure

I have heard that relieving pressure in antilock brakes is dangerous without
the proper tool. I need to know how to relieve the pressure in a 2000 Acura
Integra. Does anyone know a way to do it. Taking it to a shop is out of
the question. Also, does anyone know where it is safe to disconnect any of
the lines without relieving the pressure?

    Thanks

P.S. I bought one of those Chilton manuals from the parts store and in it
    they
describe how to bleed the pressure in ABS brakes for 97 and older. It says
starting in 98 there is no provision for bleeding the system pressure. I'm
kinda worried cause the book says it's under like 3200 psi.

it may not needed it, it may only get that much pressure when it is
activated, some systems have that much pressure all the time some
dont. just turn the car off, make sure the keys are off.

get a break bleeder tool. its a pump, it sucks the juice out of the
lines and into a small container. and make sure the reservor has fluid
all the time to prevent air in the line.

i had a chrys. concord, with abs, she didnt need to be
depressureized. i had to have the car off, as soon aa i turned the
key, it activated the brakes. everything else went smoothly. id say
if u want to check it push in the brake piston if it goes in its good,
i dont think u can push in the piston if u have 2700 psi. just dont
push it in all the way. its just to check

The car is a total and I am dissambling it. I need to take the brake system
out completely. I don't know which lines to disconnect without a ccidently
blowing the pressure loose. I have been told it is under extreme high
pressure and not to mess with it but i need to get it out to dispose of the
    wrecked parts.

    Thanks

check by the master cylinder, it should be next to the engine, if it
has a ball, that sais carefull 3000psi, then u have to depressure
ize it, if it dosent have a ball it should be ok. the ball holds the
pressure,,if it dosent have a pressure ball, it dosent have pressure,
    untill the breaks r applied.

did u try the "Haynes repair manual" u can get it a auto zone, or
pepboys, on the rack. get the one with ur car. it should tell u how
to do it step by step how to depressure ize it if needbe.
