"S" light HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    can anyone tell me why my "S" light comes on when it rains or I wash
    it? when this "sport" ("S") light comes on without pushing the switch
    on the shifter the transmission doesnt come out of 2nd
    gear.....HELP!!!!

    The "S" light is acting as a trouble light for the transmission. It goes
    into a "failsafe" mode which is why it won't come out of second when the
    light comes on. You have a problem in the transmission electronics.

    Yes i understand that but im trying to find out why it only does it
    when it rains or i wash it and once the engine get hot it goes off

    A likely cause is exposed wiring getting shorted by the water. When it gets
    hot, the water would be evaporated away and everything is fine again. Look
    at the wiring harnesses the run to the trans and see if you find any frayed
    or damaged insulation or possibly a loose or corroded connector.
