i noticed on the back of it, there's a plug for the stereo related stuff,
and a plug for the keyless.. and a third that is referred to as
    "security" ..

does this mean that there's some sort of security system "addon" i can get
that plugs into that and gives me a car alarm? or that i can easliy add an
aftermarket alarm w/ some sort of adapter (as opposed to splicing wires
    like crazy)

There is a Honda (Alpine) alarm system that is supposed to mount in that
empty space in the stock radio, so I am assuming the third plug goes into
that. I could not find a pinout for that plug, nor where to get a harness
adapter for that and keyless plug. If you find any info on that, post here,
I would love to know anything about those 2 plugs as I have an aftermarket
alarm system I am about to install and would really like to avoid that wire
    splicing madness you mentioned.
