I could not believe it! I had been advised that because Honda makes
good cars, their dealers can allow themselves to treat people like
garbage. I won't go into the details of what happened to me, but one
thing does stand out upon the expiration of the lease of my 1999
    Accord DX.
I decided to keep the vehicle. I went to sign the papers and buy it
    back.
The staff at SPINELLI Honda in LaSalle, Quebec, actually charged me 50
dollars for a "preparation and delivery fee". This is for a car that
has been in my possession for the last 48 months...
And that is only one of the pearls. When I confronted the employee, he
told me it was a msitake (a common ploy) but the charge was for
something else which he referred to by its initials. That was probably
    a lie.
Can anyone tell me of any decent and honest (to the extent that car
dealers are honest) Honda dealers in Montreal, Laval or the SOuth
    shore?
I have to buy another car and unless I can find an honest dealer, I
will probably forego the make and look into another maker.

  2. Don't sign it unless you understand it. Buyouts are negotiable, and it's
in their best interest to sell you the car.
