    Hello,

Does anyone have any views on using Optimax petrol in their NSX. I
have been using this fuel for about a year and by chance moved over to
Esso Premium. I have found the difference to be startling. With the
Esso fuel definately coming out on top.

With Esso, i find that my car is much more responsive, it is also
easier to change between gears (much more smooth). Previously with
Optimax i found that i had to concentrate more on getting my clutch
control right otherwise my NSX would 'shudder' between gear changes.
This certainly took the fun out of driving.

I'm only sorry that it took me so long to 'discover' Esso Premium. I'd
be very interested to hear other peoples comments on Optimax or
anyother petrol they rate highly. I've tried Texaco Premium, but
didn't think much of that either. Why should different petrol make a
    car react like this??

Don't have an answer to your question but you may want to check out the
forums on www.nsxprime.com and post your question there. The NSX
community there is large and you may get an accurate answer.

BTW, I have a '91 NSX and owned it for six years. I love this car and
wouldn't trade it in for any other sports car on the planet.
