The light on the center console that shows what gear the car is in has
burned out in my wife's 04 Accord. I personally don't see it a worth the
effort to replace since the indicator on the dash works and that's the one I
generally look at when I drive her car. She, on the other hand, insists it
is a pain in the butt, particularly this time of the year when she is
driving after dark more than during the daylight.

She priced having it replaced at the dealer and decided it wasn't in the
budget right now. I haven't looked at it all that close yet (finally
getting some temps above freezing here!) but was wondering if this was a
major job that required a tool box full of SPTs or just a couple screws and
    a 3rd hand?

    Thanks!
