I am having a problem with my engine sputtering at 3000 RPM's. This
happens no matter what gear I'm in. Any suggestions/comments?

    Thanks,
    Lee

  2. Tell us what kind of car, the model, the tranny, and the mileage.

If it's a high mileage Honda that has cruise control and was driven on
the prairies, the PSYCHIC answer is:

You need a new 'Throttle Position Sensor', and yes, it's very expensive.

Its too bad that the TPS is part of the throttle body from what i have read
and have seen on a few of my friends Hondas and Acuras. and also been told
so by a honda mechanic no to mention a buddy of mine that is a mechanic at a
local garage. $639 for a TB for my car but i got for $150 aftermarket with
new injectors and TPS nothing to switch over except the actual PGM- FI
Intake. over all install time with new hoses about 1.5 hours if you have
    everything setup before hand

  5. Maybe the O2 sensor is too slow. That's not much of a description to go
    on.

    Perhaps plugged EGR ports.

First off get a chiltons or haynes manual for your car
which is what most ppl do. and check the reccomendations for that kind of
problem. it is most likely your TPS or it could even be bad injectors
