sruck key accord 1997 LX

    Hi all, Today I used a non-original key (that I cut at a hardware
    store)to drive my car (honda accord) since I misplaced the original key. Well, the
    key is now stuck in the "I" position and I cannot get it to the "0"
    position to get it out. I tried several things that I read in the
    newsgroups such as shifting hard to "P" position, etc. Nothing has
    work. Is there a technique to get this key out?

    Common problem with hardware store cut keys. Before you do any damage,
    call a locksmith and chalk it up to experience.

    I would never get anything but a simple house key cut at a hardware store.
