stiffer but NOT lower springs for civic

    I have a 1988 civic hatchback. I'd like to install some performance
    springs, but do not want to lower car the usual 2+" that most springs
    do (I do a lot of off-road driving). I'd prefer not to use coil-overs,
    but are coil-overs even an option (ie can some be adjusted so that
    little or no height is lost)?
