Stripped fuel line nut --99 Honda CRV

Discussion in 'CR-V' started by Stempis Rhubank, Oct 18, 2003.

  1. the metal fuel line that leads from the gas tank to the fuel filter
has a stripped nut that screws the fuel line to the fuel filter.

How can I fix that without replacing the whole fuel line( gas tank - fuel filter).

You could use a pipe cutter, cut off the flare, remove the damaged nut,
replace it, make a new flare, and voila!

Won't be easy since it's a tight area to work, but will work.
