any tips on websites with detailed removal instructions? i did the one
in my 95 accord and there were some hidden screws i wouldn't have known
    about without instructions.

    thanks for the reply.

The 98-02 Accord radio will swap with the 99-04 Odyssey.

Accord: The trim panel that surrounds the radio comes out.

Step 1: remove the clock. Gently pry at the bottom with a small flat
screwdriver or similar. It pops right out. Disconnect and remove.
Behind it is a screw. Remove.

Step 2: at the bottom of that trim panel, pointing upwards, are two
    screws. Remove them.

Step 3: get a decent rag, put it in the hole left by the clock, get
    your fingers in there as best you can, and yank. It might be tight;
keep yanking. You won't hurt anything. The trim panel will pop off.

The radio is secured by 4 8mm bolts. You may also try a screwdriver on
them, but trust me--use a socket. The radio pops right out.

Odyssey: the trim panel that surrounds the radio comes out.

Step 1: put the transmission selector into low gear.

Step 2: get your fingers in behind that trim panel down at the bottom
by the gear selector, and yank. Just like the Accord, it'll probably be
    tight--but it pops out.

Step 3: disconnect the wires and whatnot from the HVAC controls in that
    trim panel.

Removal of the Odyssey radio is then the same as with the Accord.

    Swap radios.

Button it all back together. Bang the panels back into place. On the
Accord, put the three screws back in.

Sit back. Have a beer. Call me and thank me.

If you've never done this before, you'll be an hour or more. No big
deal. If you've done it before, you'll be 15 minutes, tops.
