Synthetic oil in civic

    I have used Mobil in a 01 Prelude starting at 20k through the current
    mileage at 62k. Just change -- no special requirements.

    I have a 2005 civic with 8K miles since i do a lot of city driving i am
    planning on using synthetic oil Mobil 1 on my next oil change. Is
    there anything i should be aware of when using synthetic. Do i need to
    do an engine flush etc etc

    no. but i wouldn't start using it for at least another 30k.
    no. the oil types are fully compatible.
