Test drove the '05 Sienna LE & the '05 Ody EX..........certainly like the
Ody better........ergonomics, quick, nimble, etc.....except the road noise
was more than I expected...maybe due to the new PAX Michelin tires?
Got one dealerships here in Vegas to knock off $500 off the $28K sticker,
    but that's all!
More concerned about buying into a new model year?
    Any feedback is appreciate...TIA!

  2. The EX doesn't have PAX. So, that's not an issue.

Because of PAX, which people don't want, the demand is up for the EX--so
prices are up. However, if you can suffer with PAX, you can get a base
Touring for about the same money--because demand for that model is low,
which leads to a lower price.

Your correct...my mistake on the PAX..............don't know the pros & cons
on the PAX tires? You say, "suffer with PAX"...could you elaborate?
I'll compare the Touring Basic vs. the EX...............bells & whistles.
    TIA

There is an article in this month's Road & Track that covers Michelin's PAX
    tire technology:

how was the fit and finish on the interior compared to the Toyota?
i've heard that the Toy. has a much better finished product on the interior
fit and finish. i'm leaning toward the Honda, but w/ the Toy being less $$
and basically neck and neck overall against the Ody. it's a tough choice.

IMO the Honda had better ergonomics, i.e.....interior was designed
    smarter...shifter, radio, AC layout etc.
Seats were about the same as the Toy, third row in the Honda was much easier
to manipulate. The lazy susan setup on the Honda was a smart idea but I
could see how dirt and other crap would find its way into the various cubby
    holes.
Easy to nick pick both but my first impression was that the Honda seem to be
    more favorable to me..............
go look and then give me your opinion!
    Thanks!

Does LX come with PAX? Heard about too many problems on Power sliding door..
    I would just consider LX.
