Here is possibly the most random question. What is the recomondation
for checking your tire pressure (meaning how often, not how to do it)?
I have never heard anything, and even after checking the paperwork from
the tire manufacturer when I bought my tires it just said "often". What
does that mean? This is strange I know but I was just wondering.

    Thanks

whenever it comes to mind. at least every oil change or if you notice
one of the tires looking lower than the others.

Get one of those $10 electronic pressure guages - the stick that sticks
out with the numbers on it variety are not that accurate. Suggest
inflating them to the max suggested on the plate found on the drivers
    side door panel.

And do it once a month. You really can't tell if a radial tire is low
    without using a gauge.

  5. Some books say whenever you buy gas. I generally check them monthly,
    *generally*.

And don't forget to check the spare tire while your at it.

Pointless having an extra tire that you carry around but it not have air in
    it when you need it.
