I live in Fairbanks Alaska and just bought a 1993 Civic EX coupe. IT has
57,000 miles and has three Michelin X-1's and a Dunlop A2 on the left rear
side. IT pulls slightly tothe left when cruisng down the road. I could
replace all three X-1's since I do not know how long they have been on but I
will have to order from someplace like Tire rack since no one in Fiarbanks
stocks them. Are there any other tires that I should consider.
I plan to run Blizzaks during the winter so was thinking about some kind of
performance all season tire keeping in mind I'd run them mosly spring summer
    and fall.

They no longer make the X-1, you may find some now but if you need a
replacement down the road you won't find it. Now they make the Hydroedge, it
is a replacement for the X-1.

Tire rack says they have some X-1's but I agree, what do I do later if I
need a replacement. THis the current problem. I will try to find info on the
"hydroedge" Michelin's.. Thanks for the reply...mark

My dealer in North Carolina said they could get X-Ones, but I decided
to go with the Hydroedge. We now have X-Ones on the Camry and
Hydroedge on the Subaru. I've only had them a week, and only dry
weather so far, but they hold the road well and corner very very well.
No one has snow info yet, since they came out in August.
