What are the advantages/disadvantages to moving fom my Civic's 13"
tires into something larger? The car is ust a daily driver.
    Thanks

    Main advantage...
    handling and looks...

    Main disadvantage...
rougher ride and harder on suspension

A larger tire does not give a rougher ride, in fact, just the opposite.

Wouldn't that only be the case only if the actual diameter of the tire is
    larger? If a 13" tire/wheel with 70 series is taken to a 14" tire/wheel
with a 60 series that would keep the entire diameter of the wheel within
specs in regards to the speedometer and overall diameter of the wheel.
However with the 60 series tire there would be a lower profile sidewall
which would reduce the amount of air, stiffen the wheel and increase
handling and performance. Of course the tradeoff would be comfort.

Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

btw - has anyone heard anything about the new Bridgestone Potenza G009 and
how it compares with the Potenza RE950?
