I am looking to replace the OEM Michelins tires on my Accord what do you
    recommend?

    Has anyone heard of Vredestein?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks

I have Vredestein snow tires on my 2003 Accord, very happy with them as I
was when I had a set of them on a Volvo 850. One of the few h-rated snow
tires. I have never tried their summer tires.

  3. I had fairly good luck with Dunlop AS radials. They were quieter than
the Michelins and lasted about as long, but had slightly less wet
traction than the Michelins, and are much less expensive.

On my 3rd set of tires now, Kelly-Springfield Sigma radials this time.
I did not feel like waiting for my shop to order the Dunlops (small
town tire store) Nothing wrong with them, but nothing special either.
Decent traction and no notable wear after 10,000 miles or so.

Michelins went 57,000 miles, the Dunlops 52,000 but they could have gone
another 10,000 miles or so. Replaced them trying to pin down a noise
problem. Turned out to be wheel bearings causing the noise, but the
Dunlops didn't really owe me anything, so I replaced them to eliminate
tires as a source of the noise.
