Top Radiator hose change question

Tonight my top radiator hose sprung a pinhole leak and I wrapped it temporarily
with duct tape...it is holding but my question is this.

It seems like a VERY SIMPLE Remove and replace but my concern is with
repressurizing the cooling system. I want to replace this hose myself but is
there any special info I need or do I just replace the hose and "burp" the air
out through the radiator cap as needed. This is on a 1994 Integra LS. Any
info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I don't know about the '94 Integra in particular but Honda did away with the
bleeder valve on all the late model Civic's have I have seen. So I figure
one just replace the hose and refill the radiator.

  3. If the top hose has leaked I'd replace the bottom hose as well. You'll
need to drain some coolant out of the radiator anyway. I don't know if the
'94 still had the bleed screw or not - not sure which year they dropped it.
If it has, you loosen the bleed screw while refilling until no more air
bubbles out of it. In any case, after you've filled as much as possible
with the engine off, start the engine and run, with the radiator cap off,
till the thermostat opens, then blip the throttle a few times to burp out
any air left in the system - might help to have the front of the car raised
slightly, on an incline or with a jack.

Oh, remember to put the heater control on max when you drain and when you
    refill and bleed.

just check that Owner Manual - it has all info about how to work on cooling
system. you probably dont have to bother about draining engine block. Just
drain a little your radiator, put new hose, add more coolant, etc as it is
    said in the manual.
