Towing motor for headlights faulty. Up and down stopped on one side. civic 99

    Please advise, the right hand little motor that controls the height of
    your headlights when towing has stopped moving.

    Is there a separate fuse for the left and right side of the car?

    My one headlight is currently positioned pointing at the floor, not
    much good when the MOT comes round.

    Has anyone else had this problem, is there an easy test.? I have a
    multimeter, i wondered if i just tested the current coming to the motor
    to see if the charge is getting to it. Set it to 20 and have a bash?

    I didn't want to screw anything up.

    Has someone else just gone, oh yes that'll be the thingermegig, flick
    that and poke the other and the buggar'll go.

    If thats the case, let me know,
