Trailer hitch for Acura TSX

I'm looking seriously at buying an Acura TSX. I may have a problem because
I need to tow a utility trailer occasionally. The TSX has a tow rating of
1000 lbs, which is sufficient. .

However Acura doesn't have a trailer hitch for the TSX, and neither does
    U-Haul.

I believe the TSX has the same body as the European Honda Accord. The UK
Honda website has an Accord brochure that shows a removable hitch as an
    accessory.

My question is whether the trailer hitch for the European Accord is
practical to use in the USA on the Acura TSX. Does anyone know if the
necessary mounting is built into the TSX body? or is this mounting a
    separate adapter plate?
There appears to be an integral hitch ball- is this two inches diameter or
an different (maybe metric) size? Is there provision for the attachment of
safety chains as used on trailers in the US?

Would appreciate any info or useful links- thanks in advance... Doug Y.
