transmission problems?

My friend has a Honda Oddysey and he wants me to post this question for him
cause he doesn't own a computer.

His vehicle doesn't seem to shiftt to high gear occasionally while driving
and noticing the rpm dial doesn't move either. Releasing and pumping the gas
pedal doesn't help either.

Years ago, I used to own a Honda Civic and at one time while driving down
the turnpike, the same exact thing happened but that was the only time it
happened.

Any info would help before bringing the vehicle to the shop.

What year? Go to www.odyclub.com forum and you will find all kinds of
information on the Odyssey transmission problems. Also he should check with
his dealer as Honda extended warranty an certain Odyssey transmission
problems.....
