    Hi There,

Is the symbol/logo of Acura a "A" or an "H".

I think it is an "H".

Is there any reason, history for that design?.

    Reply at leisure.

    Thanks.

    Pravin Nair.

    Acura's logo is an "A". Honda's logo is an "H". They're very
similar-looking though. And I think that was intended, to show that they
come from the same family. ;-)

    Cheers,

    Pete

The logo is a representation of a pair of precision
    measusring calipers.

I think it's an "A".. Looks like they took the Honda's "H" and pinched it
    together at the top :)

It's an "A" and the symbol represents a set of calipers. If I
remember their old tagline, something about "precision crafted
    performance".

Looks like a stylized "A" to me, sort of Honda's "H" upside down plus
it's the first letter in "Acura".

Why would Honda want to badge their upscale cars with an "H", anyway? Be
like GM badging Cadillacs with the Chevy symbol

Why is the Integra badged as an Acura? Its not upscale. Here in Australia,
we have the Honda Integra, Honda Legend (what you call 3.5RL), Honda NSX,
    and Honda MDX.

An "A", and also a pair of calipers that an engineer would use to make
    precise measurements.

  9. I was told that it is an "A". But becuz Honda and Acura are the same
company the "A" is made to look similar the the Honda "H".
