When converting to liters which do I use for my Accord.. For example
the manual says the tranny takes 4 quarts. Is that U.S. quarts ?

    Thanks

    Where is this manual published?
UK quarts would apply only to the European version...

BTW - in my manual it states clearly US quarts.
Here is 2006 accord owners manual page with clear indication of US units:

There is no such unit of measure.

There is US gallon (3.8 litr) and Imperial gallon (4.5 litr, also called UK
    gallon).
Quart is just a quarter of a gallon.

The Imperial System is not referred to as the UK System.

He probably finally bothered to actually crack open the manual and
discovered that Honda gives all figures in US, Imperial and Metric.
