Hello group, just recently aquired a 2004 Accord 2.2 ictdi executive tourer,
its due a service very soon and I had heard that its is fitted with a timing
chain as opposed to a belt, can anyone tell me does it ever require
replacement/maintenance if this in fact true?
    Any help would be appreciated....thanks.
I am in the UK dont know if this makes any difference to the engine spec
    etc.

Don't know about this specific car, since it's not available in the
US, but a general guideline that I have seen for timing chain
replacements would be the second water pump change. That is, the
second time you replace the water pump, you should also replace the
    timing chain.
