there is a difference in salvage value, which youre quoting, and a mint
    condition running car.
its not going to be the same. i can spot repaints from 50 yards away.
six grand is half the price of a kia, and its likely only 1/6th used.

Dealer talk-down tactic? Dealers lie, I don't when I deal with this type of
stuff. Dealer might say the car you're getting has cruise control or sunroof
but it doesn't and you find out after you sign that lease. Dealer might say
you'll get your car for $12K but they give you a loan with a 9% apr.

I said car is an old CRX which is true. I'm being a realistic here. I'm not
talking you down, I'm telling it like it is and paying for what it is. If
you had a turboed CRX, I'll be willing to pay for the turbo parts that you
have in there unlike someone who doesn't know one from the other.

You can find CRX shells with slight dings and slight dents or slight rest
for around 300-700. You can find a new motor for 300-500. That's for a stock
CRX. Of course you can spend $100000 on various items on your CRX.

    you're going to need it.

id take a clean, stock CRX with 50k miles over a riced out one with a
homebrew turbo kit any day. im just weird like that.
