Warranty on air bag restraints?

I always thought that passive-restraint systems carried their own,
    longer warranty.
When I went to a Honda dealer about an instrument-panel warning light
referring to the air-bag system, I was told that the longer warranty
    applied only to seat belts.

    Is that correct?

Not sure about your case (lacking info about year/model Honda, etc.)
you might look at more discussion about SRS light at this link
    http://groups.google.com/group/alt.autos.honda/browse_thread/thread/bb889352fa56b062/406c180fa0625505#406c180fa0625505

It's possible this comes under lifetime warranty provisions....
check owner's manual, etc. for more specifics. It might just answer
    the question.

Nope, just the regular warranty which covers the rest of the interior.

    That's correct.

And even the seat belt warranty only covers functionality, and is void if
the car was involved in a collision.
