I heard that there's a website that tracks the delivery of Honda
vehicles to the dealerships from the factory. In theory, you can
anticipate where a particular vechicle will be available by which
dealership. Has anybody heard of this before?

I'm looking for the '04 Pilot which is in very high demand right now.

    Thanks!

There is, but I do not know if one can access it without a dealer
password. ALL brands have a tracking system that follows the
status of an ordered vehicle from the time the order is placed my
the dealership. Its lists the week when the order is received,
when it is given a serial number if not coming from a pool, when
it is bucked, when it is assembled, when it is shipped as well as
an estimated date of arrival at the dealership or some variation
of that. The dealer is updated weekly, ask the dealership to
keep you apprised of the tracking changes as they occur, WBMA.
