    hello
Does anyone know what those poles at the bottom of
    http://www.seiwa-c.co.jp/en/products/index_f.html do? They don't seem
to require power, how do they work?

    thanks

(Michael) spake unto the masses in

Haven't got a clue. The English translations from Japanese are a hoot
    though.

    Example:
"It is a small thing product in the car which supports the useful
comfortable drive which is easy to use."

    Ohhh-kay....

Reminds me of the service manual for a Japanese two-way radio, the Icom
IC-F210. They actually spell "regulator" as "regurator" :)

My '91 Integra workshop manual is full of that sort of thing. The
distributor's leak cover, for instance, is called a "reak cover".

The manual for our '99 Tercel is even worse.

Or a Minolta camera manual from the late 1960's in which they suggest using
the camera in different modes, as it is good sexercise.
