What year did the Civic have fuel injection?

    I am looking for an older Honda Cvic, maybe 1.5L to get 30-40 mpg.

    What year did the Civic get rid of the carb and switch to fuel injection?
    Any model years to avoid?

    1992 was the first year for FI across the board.

    1986 was the Si, the first FI Civic. The rest of the line got carbs.

    civics were fuel injected in the u.s. for all the 88-91 models.
