I live in Fairbanks Alaska and just bought a 1993 Civic EX coupe. IT has
57,000 miles and has three Michelin X-1's and a Dunlop A2 on the left rear
side. IT pulls slightly tothe left when cruisng down the road. I could
replace all three X-1's since I do not know how long they have been on but I
will have to order from someplace like Tire rack since no one in Fiarbanks
stocks them. Are there any other tires that I should consider.
I plan to run Blizzaks during the winter so was thinking about some kind of
performance all season tire keeping in mind I'd run them mosly spring summer
    and fall.

  2. If you're going to run blizzaks in the winter (smart choice) why get all
    seasons for the summer?

I agree but up here sometimes the wx changes rapidly and I commute 20 miles
one way to work so it has happened a few times where I was out of town, fly
in to fairbanks and it has snowed 6inches over night and I have to try to
get home with what ever tires are on my car!!!?
I could change early but like this year, it is Oct. 22 and we still have NO
snow on the ground and the weather hasn;t been cold YET, usually we have
several inches on the ground by Oct. 15th each year....
I have though about performance tires for summer and dedicated snow tires
for witner. I've always used studded snows for winter, this year I'll try
the blizzaks but I still have 4 mounted 14" studded snows incase I don;t
    like them.
