wheel bearings

    can any one tell me how 2 change front wheel bearins on a 1988 honda
    civic,and is it hard also i am looking 4 a repair manual and a owners
    man.

    I can't remember if the front hubs are the same as the rear, but in order to
    replace the bearings, you need to use a hydraulic press to remove the
    bearings. It's almost easier to replace the whole hub assembly (hub and
    bearings), than swap out the bearings.

    Here are the part numbers you'll need.
    (Auto Parts Warehouse no., Not Honda Part numbers)
    Hub assembly: K7001-61118
    Wheel Bearing: K8000-20395

    Do a search on these part numbers for the best prices, it's been two years
    when I had to replace these and the website I used is no longer around.
    Also make sure they are for the front. Honda recommends you replace the
    axle nut as well.
