These scanners seem much more plentiful now than just a few years ago and my impression is that prices have come down, so owning one is starting to look like more of an affordable investment. But which one? I want one that would have the best support for any Honda specific codes, preferably with C.A.N / Mode 9 capability, and that would support connection to a laptop through either serial or USB ports, with software to display user selected outputs in real time. The OBD2 code lists I've seen seem to have a variety of measurements that would be useful for identifying efficient operation for fuel consumption (fuel trim, throttle position, manifold pressure, etc.) and I'd like to be able to have these on the screen of the display (laptop, palm or scanner) in real time. Thanks for any product experiences you'd like to share. +-----------------------------------------+ | Charles Lasitter | Mailing/Shipping | | 401/728-1987 | 14 Cooke St | | cl+at+ncdm+dot+com | Pawtucket RI 02860 | +-----------------------------------------+
