Hey All, I have a 91 honda civic that gives a whirring sound upon
ignition every now and then....its not the abs (It doesn't have) and I
don't think its the fuel pump (sound seems to come from the front and
    upon starting the engine)...any ideas?

    Hi,
Could it be a loose / corroded ground connection from the battery?
It sounds like what I had on my car.
