wont start

Im having the same problem with my 93 del sol. I have a posting on here
that says wont start del sol HELP (its about 10 under where your posting
is-you might want to read what peopel said on mine too). I keep hearing
its either the main relay or the ignitor switch. the honda dealer has the
main relay for $50 so Im getting it put in this weekend. Ill keep you
posted if it works on my car. my car runs great 98% of the time and then
wont start every blue moon! In fact I still drive it everyday!

 

Gothkitty, I just want to back up what Curly (motsco_ _) said: If the problem
never occurs in hot weather and after driving awhile, I'm not at all optimistic
replacing the main relay will fix your car's problem.

If your car's symptoms don't sound anything like those described at
http://www.markl.f9.co.uk/howto/electrical/main-relay/main-relay.htm , I'd start
looking into some of the other suggestions here.

That's "ignition switch," BTW. The ignitor is inside the distributor housing and
is a whole other part
